Minke Whale, Dolphins,

My husband is one of the captains for Brier island Whale and Seabird Cruises. He went out on a whale watch on Tuesday and Sighted:
Minke Whale and Atlantic white-sided Dolphins. He also noted the high concentration of herring into huge bait balls, salps and copepods were abundant. Phalaropes and gannets were also in the area. Hopefuly they will have a good sightings this summer.

This is good news. Haven't had too many reports yet on this side of the Bay.

Great things happening now that the season is winding up!

Can I post your whale and seabird reports over to fundywhale.blogspot.com when appropriate?

Thanks
Art
