Another nice day on the Island and i had the day off so i decided to go out whale watching with my husband this morning. We sighted 9 humpback whales with more spouts in the distance. Also sighted some Red-necked Phalaropes, Sooty and Greater Shearwaters, Wilson storm-petrels, Northern Gannets, Puffins, common tern, and lots of harbor porpoises. A grey seal bobbed his head up coming in towards Northern Light. Lots of Great blue herons fishing along the shoreline. They like to sit on top of the trees. All inall we had a wonderful day whale watching!
