Brier Island Snowshoe Hare Hybrid
David Pugh reports a sighting of a snowshoe hare but is slightly different from your normal version. This one he calls the Brier Island Snowshoe hare that was a hybrid from Wickerson Lent who use to be the lighthouse keeper for Western Light years and had many rabbits he let go in the wild. Therefore we now have a hybrid species hopping around our Island. David took these pictures notice the tail is not white, white spot in the forehead, and very large rear feet. Hope you enjoy our Brier Island Snowshoe Hare!
